RONGAI ROUTE
OVERVIEW
The Rongai route is the scenic impressive route approached the summit from less walked and drier north-Eastern side of Mount Kilimanjaro. The trekking begging near the Kenya boarder that gives stunning and attractive view under the African skies and uneven Mawenzi. The trails are well developed and pass through green rainforest to moorland to alpine desert to glacial zone. Rongai route points namely Rongai gate to 1st cave camp, to Kikelewa camp, to Mawenzi tarn camp, to Kibo hut, to Uhuru peak.
Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Meet you climbing guide for briefing and final gear check. Overnight at the hotel.
