ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK DAY TOUR

OVERVIEW

After breakfast at 8:30 you are met by our professional tour guide/driver, who will deliver a short safari info briefing, after which we travel east to the Arusha National Park. This is a small yet gorgeous national park which is in close proximity to Arusha Safari town and Kilimanjaro International Airport. Thus it is preferred for 1-day safari tours. The park has animal life in abundance, and at the same time is topographically varied. The three of the most significant features of this park are the rugged Mount Meru (Tanzania’s second highest peak at 4566m), the notably different coloured Momela Lakes, and the 3km wide Ngurdoto Crater, which was formed about fifteen million years ago! We will enjoy lunch at the Momela wildlife lodge and do an exciting morning game drive and afternoon game drive, visiting both the Momela Lakes and the Ngurdoto Crater. Wildlife in here includes the African buffalos, elephants, hippos, giraffes, warthogs, antelopes, zebras, blue monkeys, and seldom rare leopards or hyenas. Depart for Arusha in the late afternoon where your safari will come to an end. A tip of $20 for the day to the tour guides is preferred. Next you can leave for your hotel which will end our tour package services.
