LAKE MANYARA DAY TOUR

OVERVIEW

Have breakfast at around 8:30 AM after which our professional tour driver will pick you from your place and will brief you on the safari tour. Next you’ll be taken to the Great Rift Valley and Lake Manyara National Park. En route visit the market town of Mto Wa Mbu situated at the entrance of Lake Manyara NP. You’ll find many souvenir items which are sold by hundreds of souvenir shops ready to pounce at slightest invitation. The Lake Manyara National Park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located African wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s densely populated African elephants herds, Lake Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos, attracted by the algae in the lake. Enjoy a lunch picnic inside the park followed by two exciting game drives, one in morning and another in afternoon in search of famous tree-climbing lions. Depart for Arusha in later afternoon which marks the end of our safari adventure. Tip off $20 to the guides for the day’s service. You’ll then be taken back to your hotel and this will end our tour service.
