BIRD WATCHING SAFARI
OVERVIEW
Africa is a fantastic continent for a bird-watching holiday. With a range of widespread bird species, Tanzania is a great location for bird-watching safaris. Over 1000 species have been recorded here and birders in Tanzania will love the range of environments and the sheer variety of birds to be seen on a safari adventure. Tai-Adventures and Safaris have professional and experienced bird guides who will be able to introduce you and explain every bird comes to sight.
The bird-life in Tanzania is good year-round, but at its best from November to April when the migratory birds from Europe and Northern Africa are present. At this time, many resident bird species are nesting and are in breeding plumage.
After breakfast, you depart for another full day bird-watching adventure in Tarangire National park. Along with birds you have a great chance to see the big five.
After breakfast, we leave Tarangire national park and drive to the Serengeti National park, via Olduvai Gorge. You do game en-route as heading to Serengeti. You have your lunch accompanied by coffee/tea break in the park.
You will spend the next two full days for bird watching in Serengeti National park. At end of each inspiring day, you head back to the tented camp//lodge for meal and some rest needed.
After early breakfast, descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for wildlife and bird watching till late afternoon then drive to Karatu town for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, we drive to our last bird-watching adventure day in Lake Manyara National Park. Explore the birds in Lake Manyara national park, at end of this day we drive back to Arusha for overnight.
After a late breakfast at the lodge, Is a great opportunity to thank you for special time with us and escort you to the airport for your next flight back home. This is now end of our Northern circuit bird-watching adventure.
