OVERVIEW

When it comes to filming adventures, Tanzania has what it gets.

The Serengeti plains, game reserve, Zanzibar white beaches and abundance of wildlife make Tanzania the one-top destination for filming in Africa.

Tanzania has approximately 20% of the continents large mammal population. Home to the Great Migration where it is estimated over a million wildebeest spend the majority of their time in Tanzania and temporarily crossing into Kenya then head back to Tanzania.

The main wildlife attractions to Tanzania include;

• Wildebeest Migration in the Serengeti National Park
• Large populations of Elephants; Tarangire National Park
• Tree climbing Lions of Lake Manyara National Park
• Flamingos of Lake Natron and Lake Manyara National Park
• Chipanzee’s in Gombe Stream National Park
• Wild Dogs – estimated 20% of the continents population are found in Tanzania
• Over thousands of bird species reported that are found in Tanzania
• Olduvai Gorge is a site in Tanzania that holds the earliest evidence of the existence of human ancestors.
• The Hadzabe in Eyasi, last click-speaking hunter gatherer tribe in Tanzania.

Quite often wildlife species in the national parks such as Serengeti National park, Ngorongoro crater, Tarangire national park and Lake Manyara national park do not stay on the main safari track hence for film safari trip, therefore off road driving is recommended. Our off road 4×4 land-cruiser safari vehicles are then require to make possible for the off road film game adventure. Tai-Adventures and Safaris will organize to get permission from Tanzania national parks and other game reserve authorities.

Bear in mind, film Fees apply within National Parks, Wildlife Areas and Conservation Areas. Depending on where you want to film, there will be a film fee for the area.
