WALKING SAFARI
OVERVIEW
Experiencing African wilderness on foot is quite special and unique since it brings you closer to nature than any other safari options can. All these can happen in Selous Game Reserve, Serengeti plains, Sadaani National Park, Ngorongoro Crater Highlands, Ruaha National Park and some other protected parks in Tanzania.
The best time for walking safari in Tanzania is during the dry season where grasses are shorter as you can quickly spot animal while at a safe distance. For Northern Tanzania National Parks – Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater highlands and Tarangire the best time is from late June – November while the Southern Tanzania – Selous Game Reserve, Mikumi National Park, and Ruaha is from the end of May – November.
We have got a broad range of walking safari packages. Some are combined with other safari options. Bellow is one of our walking tour combined with a safari package;
