Climbing Trekking

Tanzania offers multiple trekking destinations ranging from easy to hard difficulty levels. The 13th largest country in Africa is home to Africa’s both highest and lowest point. The country is mountainous and densely forested in the northeast where most of the climbing and trekking destinations are located. Tanzanian Western Circuit where Gombe Stream is located is also an excellent walking destination as there are no roads for vehicles and the whole park has to be traversed via foot. But as per difficultly level, Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Meru are the best trekking places in Tanzania. We at Tai Adventures & Safaris provide Tanzania Climbing And Trekking tours all year around.

  • Trek to the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro in our Mount Kilimanjaro Climbing guide. With an height of 5,895 above sea level, it is the highest mountain in Africa and has seven different trekking routes to reach to the top. It is a large stratovolcano with three distinct volcanic cones which are characterized by snowcapped peaks. The Uhuru peak is the highest point in Kilimanjaro which many trekkers aim for but few make it.
  • Trek yet another stratovolcano in Tanzania, Mount Meru, in our Mount Meru Climbing guide. It is just located north of Arusha City and is the topographic central area of Arusha National Park. With the highest point at an altitude of 4,562 meters, it is clearly visible from Mount Kilimanjaro on any given clear day.
